Johnny Ferlita Pediatric Cancer Tournament
6/9/2011

Captains Journal:

Captain David … it was an absolute great day that you provided Cory and myself today. We appreciate you taking the time to host us and take us to all the ‘fishing hot spots’ in Tampa Bay.

Wow, for us to catch that whopper of a fish under the bridge, well, we won’t need to make up any ‘fishy’ stories now.. 

I am sure Cory will be writing to you himself to say thanks, but I wanted to reach out and say Thank You.. it was a wonderful and memorable day.

PS – enjoy the pic.

TRUE HEROS!! Cory, Seth and Craig were on my boat this day. They were wounded warriors. They are the ones who secure our freedom as Americans every day! "The Johnny Ferlita Memorial Fishing Tournament" hosted by the Westshore Yacht Club. Dad, Annie and Cory attended a dinner at the club on Friday evening which included music and a silent auction in support of Pediatric Cancer. Dad and Cory were up early on Saturday morning to board their fishing boat at the club. Between them they caught several fish (catch & release tournament)...but the biggest one was 42 lbs!! It took 15 minutes to reel it in! Lots of fun in the sun...hats, long sleeved shirts and sun screen were a must!
